Can Gorgers only come on from the flank? My opponent in the last game I played against OK brought them on from the rear. I didn't check his army book, I just took his word for it. Is he mistaken in his reading of the rules? (Yes, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt if he is wrong :oP)

Another good use for Gnoblars is to keep your scraplaunchers from going on the rampage. Line em up in front and the launcher can't charge at all!

Also, you can't cast Gut Magic on Gnoblars as they aren't Ogres. Sad, but true.

Hey, nice blog here. I haven't had much chance to play with the Ogres so far, but from what I have played is that Gorgers are awesome. For 75 pts they are excellent warmachine hunters as they can come on from any table edge. Even the mere presence of one in your list makes the opponent work against himself, positioning units to block and kill the gorger or moving his precious warmachines up

Not having much experience with Tau, I have very little concept of how big this thing is. As a whole, it seems to look fairly normal sized, but in the bottom two pics, there looks to be a pilot peaking out the top (a shield from a sniper drone team's spotter perhaps?). If that's really a firewarrior sized model, this thing must be huge.

GW has a fairly specific way of writing thier rules. an example is "The Eviscerator: it counts as a chain fist" this is not how GW tend to write thier rules. also this entry is not in the wargear section, but under a character. Yeh I did consider shooting straight at the Tervigons, there were 4 of them though. With 6 wounds each and 6 Toughness, and all I had was 7 Grey Knights, 5 Terminators (inc. my grand master, and one with an incinerator) a Grey Knight Dread with Heavy Bolter and Incinerator, and my Inquisitorial Storm Troopers (with 2 plasma guns, they all died on turn 2).

For me, fluff, coolness and models tend to influence my army list more than other stuff. I've got a Inquisitor Lord in my latest WH list, when really for the points I should drop him and take another Excorcist or Retributors, but I love the model and I love the =I= background.

There's nothing wrong with the paint-job, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I'd be perfectly happy to play a game against that army. Some people don't even bother with the painting at all, and just leave them in plastic-gray! It's your model and what is most important is that YOU are happy with it. Everything else can take a long walk off a short pier. ;)
